The Latest House Project!

I was so excited when Mike told me our handyman Gene was coming on Friday to build our pergola. Gene is awesome and has done about 75% of our big house projects but he got super busy and the pergola got put on hold. I think I’ve been waiting around 4 months for this. I guess I was putting a thing called patience to good use!

I got home from work yesterday and was so happy that I immediately went to work putting the canvas over the top of the pergola. Then I pulled the patio tables out of the shed. Then I went and took a nap. LOL

Later that evening Mike and I made a quick trip to Lowes and Target where I picked up a couple of pillows and some lights. I grabbed one hook to hang a lantern but couldn’t find one I liked. So today’s goal is to find a lantern or two. Oh and to get more lights because 1 strand of them wasn’t long enough…

But for now here’s what we have…

And now I really want concrete paint and stain to freshen up the deck. Or an outdoor rug. Why does one project always have to lead to another??
