By Tuesday time already seemed to be flying by!! I had a bit of time between breakfast and my first class so I stole a quick walk with Mike around the lake. Then it was off to a day of classes. Then it was the big NextGen Client Event. A private after hours party at Magic Kingdom. Of course very few rides were open but it was still quite the experience!! We loved space mountain and the awesome fireworks display!! The last thing we saw that night was Cinderella. We didn’t stick around to see what happened when the clock struck 12 though… :-)

Monday – Conference Day 1 & Downtown Disney
Monday was the day our conference officially kicked off. This meant lots of food and running here there and everywhere to our classes. The food was pretty crazy. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack. I think they were trying to fatten us up. Every time you turned around there was MORE food!! I did take a picture of my Mickey Mouse rice crispy treat. The chocolate dipped ears were deadly!! Of course from the balcony at the hotel you were given a teasing view of Magic Kingdom!
Monday evening Mike and I headed (via a bus) to downtown Disney. We ate supper at Rainforest Cafe. I was hardly hungry so my meal was off the appetizer menu. The pita bread quesadilla was awesome! Mike once again had a hamburger. After supper we walk around in and out of shops. The last shop was Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop. I had a hot chocolate(it was cold out) and Mike had a vanilla latte. Perfect ending to the evening!!

More Hiking
Last Sunday some folks from church headed to Upper Strausburgh to take a little hike. Mike and I joined in the fun. Well, I guess it was fun. My legs are still healing from all the thorns that attacked them. Never the less I did have a fairly enjoyable time and there was a nice view to reward us at the top of the mountain…
Of course until the end of a day I was in bed with a fever. Still don’t know what was up with that. It has been one of those weeks…
